The Creative3 Pitch is Australia’s only event dedicated to connecting creative industries ventures with investors. Recognising the need for creative businesses to understand the angel investment community and what they are seeking, this event focuses on building capacity of startup founders in the creative industries and increasing the number of investor-ready businesses in Australia. THE PROCESS: Four creative startups from across Australia will pitch to early stage investors at this exclusive breakfast event on September 22, 2016. The Creative3 Pitch receives entries from creative tech startups right across Australia. For the past three years, the CEA Startup Fund has gone on to invest in one of the finalist companies, presenting a potentially life-changing opportunity for the finalists. Creative Business Cup (Australia / Copenhagen) As the Australian hosts of the Creative Business Cup, all four Creative3 Pitch finalists qualify for the world championships for creative entrepreneurs, the Creative Business Cup. The winners of the Creative3 Pitch investor’s choice award are rewarded with flights and accommodation for a founder to the Creative Business Cup (19-21 November) in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here they compete against 63 countries as the Creative Business Cup Australia representative. They have the opportunity to pitch to some of the biggest VCs in Europe during Global Entrepreneurship Week and compete for a prize pool of over USD $35,000.
