Within this ecosystem, the Perplexity TV App functions as a standalone AI agent, enabling users to plan trips, find movie information, or generate creative ideas—all from the comfort of their living rooms.

How to Use the Perplexity TV App

• Access: Launch the app from the TV home screen or through the Vision AI Companion using the AI button.

• Activation: Users need to accept the terms and grant microphone access for voice-enabled features.

• Optional Input: For those who prefer not to use voice commands, the app supports both the onscreen keyboard and USB keyboard input.

• Capabilities: From entertainment suggestions to practical everyday assistance, Perplexity delivers answers through visually engaging, glanceable cards optimized for Samsung TVs.

Availability and Free Perks

The Perplexity TV App is available on all 2025 Samsung TVs and will soon be rolled out to select 2023 and 2024 models through a software update.
