LONG DESCRIPTION

Applicants can be at the idea, prototype, users, or paying users stage and can be at the Angel, Pre-seed, or Seed funding stage. The 9th Annual IdeaFest will take place on May 1, 2024, at 2 Witches Winery and Brewing Company in Danville, VA, offering awards of $5,000 for 1st place, $3,000 for 2nd place, and $2,000 for 3rd place. The competition aims to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in the Dan River Region, providing a platform for entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and receive constructive feedback. Networking opportunities are also available, allowing entrepreneurs to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, future customers &potential investors like The Launch Place. Anyone with a venture idea in the initial stages of development, with funding to date of no more than $500,000.
