The Improving Connectivity for Ontario program (ICON) will help improve and expand broadband and cellular infrastructure in areas of need by investing $150 million over four years. We’re inviting telecommunication service providers, municipal governments, Indigenous communities and non-profits to submit innovative proposals to lend their investment, expertise and experience to improve connectivity in communities across Ontario. The ICON program is meant to promote industry partnerships that leverage investments across sectors and encourage innovative solutions to meet the connectivity needs of communities.
