OPPORTUNITY:

Valnet Inc. is searching for a creative remote podcast host to produce episodes of the “Behind the Screen” podcast by ScreenRant. The podcaster will be responsible for researching and creating a cohesive thesis+outline for their episodes. The host will be responsible for booking interesting and fitting guests for their episodes. Upon approval the host will record the episode along with a guest, creating an in-depth look at movies, TV, film-theories, and other popular topics covered on ScreenRant.

The podcast host and booked guests will need a professional audio recording setup.

Responsibilities

Writing an outline that details the in-depth research of the podcast topic (thesis, segments, research, what will make it stand out);

Deep knowledge of movies and pop-culture. Should have a grasp on ‘SR topic themes’ to be able to speak comfortably;

Recording the podcast audio;

The podcast host will have multiple guests. They should feel comfortable in an ‘interview’ setting;

Skills

Previous work in podcasting, radio, content creation, comedy, or other personality-driven mediums;

Organized and able to deliver on deadlines;

Researching skills - ability to create stories that will set our podcast apart with a deeper level of research;

Professional audio recording - we will expect clean audio;
