THE PAMPER ME NETWORK SOCIAL REWARDS PLATFORM IS A CONCEPT THAT IS 15 YEARS IN THE MAKING

In 2006, Bernard couldn’t have possibly known that he had created one of the Internets’ first digital currencies—that would serve as the foundation for revolutionizing Internet-based rewards management.  This is when we fell in love with the software platform and began formulating a plan to enhance it.

In 2016, the Pamper Me Network (PMN) acquired AlphaUserPoints from AlphaPlug, founded by Bernard Gilly. PMN quickly accelerated its efforts to integrate AlphaUserPoints with the Matrix 6.0 software platform. In doing so, PMN created a revolutionary new digital currency called Social Rewards designed specifically for individuals that wish to monetize their online popularity and the popularity of their friends.

The upgrade of AlphaUserPoints allow social media users to convert traffic into points, points into Social Rewards and Social Rewards in cash (fiat) money and, or cryptocurrency.

AlphaUserPoints (AUP) was initially marketed as Joomla open source software. It was available as a free component as well as a premium add-on. AUP allowed webmasters to reward visitors for visiting their websites with points for registrations, referrals, successful login, adding content, engaging with content and engaging with users.

At its height, the combination of AlphaUserPoints and the Matrix 6.0 software platform supported over 120,000 websites, JV projects and web-based affiliates including some of the leading open source Joomla components. Key implementations included:

• Jomsocial;
• Virtuemart;
• Hikashop;
• K2;
• Joobi Jstore / Jmarket.

These integrations and many more remain with the cloudbased solution.

REDEEMING POINTS:
AUP operates much like Air Miles or a frequent buyer program—allowing AUP users to redeem points for physical goods and services sold in Joomla-based shopping carts supported by AUP including Virtuemart and HikaShop.

BUYING POINTS:
Bernard Gilly created a prototype marketplace where AUP users can purchase points using Paypal (and all credit cards accepted by Paypal). However, points can only be redeemed on the website for which the points were earned.

In 2019, due to the rapid growth of currencies and growing popularity of NFTs the Pamper Me Network made the painful decision to move away from the Joomla licensing strategy to focus on developing a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) solution that supports content tipping, royalty management, NFT and social rewards powered podcast and webinar hosting. The roadmap highlighted in the right column or below (on your mobile device) highlights the progress we have made in continuing the legacy of Bernard Gilly.
