ABOUT AGING IN PLACE:
The annual State of Florida Healthcare Innovation Pitch Competition is a state-wide competition is open to undergraduate, graduate and healthcare students from Medical, Dental, Veterinary, Pharmacy, Public Health and Nursing schools from across the State of Florida. Students compete in head-to-head competition using short, professional presentations before a panel of healthcare professionals for prize monies.
The Florida Blue Statewide Heath Care Innovation Pitch Competition seeks new ideas that take into account the different contexts in which people live (e.g. their ethnicity, customs, lifestyles, values, attitudes) their socioeconomic status (e.g. wealth/poverty, education level, geographic location (rural vs urban), and where they are in the "clinical cycle": pre-clinical (off the radar), at the "clinical interface", or post-clinical (off the radar).
If you have an idea that promotes Aging in Place in any of the contexts described above (or for all!), that you think is novel and commercially feasible then we want to hear from you."

> Selected ideas have the opportunity to be mentored during the summer
> Finalists present their innovations to a panel of healthcare experts and executive representatives including Florida Blue in October.
