The Boynes Emerging Artist Award is an online art award that occurs every three (3) months, with a reward of cash and marketing. We are a 2D award, accepting paintings, drawings and photography of any size or support. Physical artwork does not have to be presented at any stage, only a clear and accurate picture depicting said artwork(s). Artwork must have been completed in the last three (3) years. Work will be judged based on skill, composition, impact and originality. When it comes to submitting your images, we require a max file size of 1 mb for each image and for the title of your work to be the title of your image.
2. Artists
This award is open to all living artists regardless of country of origin/residence, sex and age, as our purpose is to give a platform to talented artists around the world who remain unrecognised for their brilliant work, as well as to especially support artists at the beginning of their artistic careers. We do also accept students that meet the over 18 age requirement.
3. Dates
The competition will officially launch and accept entries from 12pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time on the 1st November, 2019. Deadline for entries will be 12 pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time on the 1st February, 2020. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Judging and announcement of winners will take place within two (2) weeks of the deadline.
4. Prize
Cash prizes, paid social media marketing and marketing on our website are awarded to the top three (3) entries (1st, 2nd and 3rd). Top twenty (20) honourable mentions are awarded marketing on our website. Those chosen for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and top 20 places are required to allow their work to be shown and promoted on our website, social media, blog and newsletter for a period of three (3) months after announcement of the winners.
