Klexxmar, also known historically as the Pharaoh’s

Klexxmar, also known historically as the Pharaoh’s Elixir, is a secret method of making the special spirited brews needed when the Pharaohs sought favour from their Gods. Considered to have been long lost, the formula of the Pharaoh’s Elixir was thought to have been buried with the entombment of the last Pharaoh of the Egyptian Dynasty.

The belief is the Elixir’s formula was lost due to the manner in which the Pharaoh selected and subsequently protected their keepers of the Klexxmar method. Every 10 years two young men of age 18, always orphans, would be selected from the streets of Egypt’s inner cities. They were selected because they had no known family and therefore no one to come seeking information or initiating any inquire of their absence. Once chosen they would be taken into the monastery like environment where they would never again be in contact with the world beyond the walls that would now formed the confines of their new home.

These orphans wanted for nothing and with the exception of never having being able to interact with the world that existed outside their hidden covenants, any and or all services would be brought to them. It is believed that even though they were never to be lacking in companionship, they were never to have any children. They could never ever speak of their task and unknown to them, they along with numerous servants of the Pharaoh would all but put to death upon the passing of their master. As it was the belief at the time that beyond the Pharaoh’s death, they would continue their service in the afterlife.

It would be here in their new world that these young men would be taught the historical secrets handed down over a thousand years of generational traditions of how to prepare the special Elixir of the Pharaohs. It is important to note, the Special Elixir was then added to the brewing process, giving the Godly Taste and value to whatever brew it was added to. This style of brewing was known as the Klexxmar Brewing Method.

What is known having been carried over through history, are a limited number of ingredients and a short, extremely guarded, written history detailing the processes used for the curing and aging of Klexxmar Spirited Beverages. One such secret was the storage of honey in the specially made wooden barrels for a minimum of 10 years prior to those barrels becoming the curing barrels for the Klexxmar line of Brandies. Another, rumoured to be of the highest of guarded secrets, is the storage of freshly roasted almonds and walnuts among some other undisclosed grains inside barrels. Those barrels were then rotated very slowly over the smoke from an open fire pit of hot coals that were then covered with the leaves of the pimento tree.

Of the many unknowns about the Klexxmar Process of making spirited beverages, is the size of the special made barrels. At first, researchers wrongly assumed that similar to our modern day brewing barrels, in size, so too were the barrels of the Klexxmar Process. Archaeologist have since found what they belief to be fragments of early Klexxmar Process Barrels and to their surprise, these barrels were no more than the size of a large water barrel able to be carried by a strong young person. What we can conclude from recent findings and has become more widely accepted, it is clear that at the heart of their Godly liquids, quality over quantity was a critical factor when brewing Klexxmar Spirits.

Once having arrived at the specified number of rotations and or length of time, the barrels were emptied of the hot roasted combination of grains and nuts and while still hot, the barrel would be filled with a special dry wine and let sit for 5 years. At the end of that 5 year period those barrels now emptied and bottled into Klexxmar Speciality Ports. At this stage of being emptied, these barrels would become the first stage of curing for the Klexxmar Whiskey brand.

KLEXXMAR BRANDY SERIES

Each line of your KLEXXMAR BRANDY Series, from our Rare 40 years Diplomat Class series to our Reserve Blends, is aged many years before being bottled. Our Reserve Blends are a combination and specially formulated collection of our 5 yr and younger, aged and cured to their perfect smoothness in our 25 year old Whiskey Barrels.

With the exception of our reserved Blends all other lines are born and mature exclusively inside our 50 year old pre-cured spirits wooden barrels before being bottled.

Each line of your KLEXXMAR BRANDY is labelled in the year of its bottling but marked with the insignia of the year first being barrelled. This process of labelling allows you to immediately identify each distinguished and uniquely aged bottle. As an example, your top of the line KLEXXMAR BRANDY BLACK 40 have been aged in our pre-cured spirits wooden barrels 40 years prior to bottling.

In keeping with the tradition of the Pharaohs only
6 bottles of the KLEXXMAR BLACK 40 flavour
would be made, followed by

8 of the KLEXXMAR BLUE 30
and
10 of the KLEXXMAR PLATINUM 25

It is further believed that when added to the quantity set aside for the brew masters testing and blending process it is believed no more than a barrel large enough for the curing of 30 bottles would be needed for this process.

There would be an additional barrel with some still very strongly guarded secrets that would them be emptied to make the

13 bottles of the KLEXXMAR BRAND BRONZE 10

Finally of the small barrel brewed there was a special barrel brewed differently for the

15 bottles of the KLEXXMAR BRAND WHITE 10

It is believed that from ONLY THIS BARREL were the Queens of the Pharaoh’s or Queen in rule would be allowed to partake.
