Immunefi host bug bounties for blockchain projects by providing a platform to bring projects and hackers together, so that hackers can report bugs responsibly and projects can fix those vulnerabilitie The MakerDAO Bug Bounty Program offers rewards for identifying and responsibly disclosing vulnerabilities within its protocol. Rewards are based on the impact and severity of the reported issue, with critical smart contract bugs potentially earning up to 10% of the affected funds or a maximum of USD 10 million. High-level impacts may receive rewards of up to 100% of the funds affected, with additional considerations for temporary freezing scenarios. Security researchers are encouraged to submit proof of concept for their bug reports, and all submissions must comply with Immunefi's PoC guidelines. Payouts are handled by MakerDAO governance and are denominated in USD, with payments made in DAI.
