Since 2001 Project Renewal has managed a variety of programs designed specifically to address the plight of the nation’s homeless, as well as the brave men and women that have represented the United States in combat. We have operated primarily in the State of Florida and now we need your help to take our programs on the road.
HELP US TO FINANCE THE "CREATE GIGS FOR VETS" PROGRAM:
Project Renewal manages the "Create Gigs For Vets" Program. The "Create Gigs For Vets" Program is a unique, community based outreach program. The program alllows Project Renewal to hire military veterans and, or their families to staff kiosks in malls throughout Florida.
In order to expand the program nationally we need your help to finance additional kiosks, mall space rent, educational material and to pay the transportation and daily meals of local veterans that staff our booths.
HOW DOES THE "CREATE GIGS FOR VETS" PROGRAM HELP VETERANS?
Each kiosk is staffed by a veteran or a family member. Veterans share educational material that enhance awareness of veteran issues and encourages locals to donate to Project Renewal. In return for his/her labour, Veterans earn a daily stipend and, or 30% of the donations received at the kiosk.
