This unique, tuition-free initiative offers a rare opportunity for founders, executive directors, and social impact leaders to access world-class training, expert mentorship, and real opportunities to secure funding—designed specifically with not-for-profit organizations in mind.

A Program Tailored for the Non-Profit World

Over a 16-week immersive experience (October 2025 – February 2026), selected participants will gain essential skills in:

• Fundraising and financial management

• Organizational leadership

• Legal and tax compliance for not-for-profits

• Business planning and communication

• Marketing and stakeholder engagement

Each session is led by seasoned instructors from York Entrepreneurship Development Institute, combining formal academic lectures with practical workshops and strategic mentorship.

Real-World Application Through Milestones and Mentorship

Participants will join peer clusters and complete bi-weekly milestone deliverables that shape a fully developed business model and executive summary by the end of the program. Through the program’s structured milestones and collaborative sessions, students learn to navigate real-life challenges facing social enterprises.

They will also be matched with industry mentors from relevant sectors, ensuring ongoing guidance and networking opportunities throughout the program.

Upon program completion, participants will present their organization at the Venture Fair—a high-impact event where they will pitch their not-for-profit projects to potential funders, sponsors, and key industry partners.
