How to Participate

There are two primary ways to get involved in the contest:

1. Owner/Founder – Enter Now
   Business owners and founders can self-nominate their own small businesses. This ensures direct participation and eligibility for the top Grant Prizes.

2. General Supporter – Nominate Now
   Supporters can nominate a small business, including customers, employees, vendors, or community members. Nominations help shine a spotlight on businesses that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Deadline: All nominations must be submitted online by November 5, 2025, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Eligibility Criteria for Small Businesses

To qualify for nomination, a small business must meet the following requirements:

• Based in Canada and legally licensed or registered to operate in Canada.

• Employ 50 employees or less.

• Be in good financial standing (no bankruptcy or insolvency petitions).

• Maintain good financial standing throughout the contest period to be eligible for a Grant Prize.

Special Note for Purolator Customers:
Two of the five Grant Prizes are reserved exclusively for Purolator customers, defined as businesses with an active Purolator Business Account in good standing and at least one shipment made between November 5, 2024, and November 5, 2025.

Who Can Submit a Nomination?

Nominations can be submitted by individuals who:

• Are legal residents of Canada and of the age of majority in their province or territory.

• Fall into one of the following categories:

  • Business owner or founder (self-nominating)

  • Customer

  • Employee

  • Family or friend

  • Community member

  • Partner or vendor

  • Purolator frontline employee

Exclusions:
