Respect - Poems For Women By JW

Love yourself even if you think nobody else does,
Demand respect why, because that’s what you’re worthy of.

Let your light shine so that other people can see,
How truly a wonderful experience, getting to know you could be.

Respect starts from loving, yourself from within,
Once you have accomplished that, your life is ready to begin.

Life has its ups and sometimes it is full of frowns,
If you fall you must not ever, allow yourself to stay on the ground.

Respect is not given, because of what you think of you,
It’s earned by the way you act, what you say, and by what you do.

Abuse does not always derive from a fist or a physical bout,
Abuse often occurs from the words that are spoken out of the mouth.

You were designed for a reason, and that reason you may not even know,
If you live your life to the fullest, that reason will surely show.

Others may try to run you, off the road to reaching your goal,
Be strong, stay focus, stay steadfast, it’s your life you must be bold.

There is one question that I want to ask of you,
It’s your life, your future, your destiny, tell me, what are you going to do.
