Now ladies, we ALL go through this frustration amongst other beauty related ones, well at least I do. One minute I am proclaiming my love for my skin in front of the mirror, thinking just how vibrant and radiant it’s looking, and in the next few days/weeks this thing called “dullness” begins to creep in due to stress or whatever my body is experiencing.
At this point, I often begin questioning my love for my skin.
It’s a fact that our body goes through a lot internally but the external stresses are “supersized”, big time.
Whether it is exposure to the sun, dust in the air, stress as a result of a busy schedule, bad habits such as smoking, improper diet and cleansing, you put your skin through a great deal—and sometimes it fights back. Unfortunately, as the skin is the most visible and often most sensitive part of your body, it takes the brunt of the attack—resulting in a huge depletion of your self-confidence.
BUT WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MITIGATE THIS EFFECT?
Well, I have some fantastic tips for you—to ensure that you maintain radiant skin internally and externally including:
- Getting adequate sleep;
- Drinking plenty of water;
- Ensuring a proper diet;
- Securing lots of exercise;
- Taking your vitamins.
These are some of my basic tips, but I will elaborate more in a future post.
