The entire banking system has now adopted this madness, with tellers practically begging for top scores as if a smile or a polite “thank you” is now a quantitative metric. When, then, are they responsible for just doing their damn jobs?

But if every review is pressured, prompted, and polished to perfection, what truth do they hold?

Even the U.S. Federal Trade Commission recently finalized a rule banning the buying and selling of fake reviews—a desperate attempt to restore integrity to a system already corroded by manipulation. If regulators recognize fake reviews as a form of fraud, what about forced reviews? Aren’t those just as dishonest?

The next time a teller, barista, banker, or technician pleads for a “perfect score,” look them in the eye and say: "Respectfully, please focus on the job. If it’s done well, there’ll be no need to beg me to say so."
