The End of Love - Poems For Women By JW

You said that you loved me and I took you for your word,

You whispered sweet things in my ear, things I never heard before.

I poured out my heart and gave you all of my love,

I thought you were the one sent from heaven above.

I remember when we met it was oh so very sweet,

You asked me to have lunch with you and you pulled out my seat.

We have shared many laughs and shared a few tears,

But you were my hero, you never showed any fear.

As time flew by, I grew fonder of you,

An inseparable bond formed between us two.

When we were alone it felt so right,

We were as one all through out the night.

You gave me a ring and said just you wait and see,

Soon together we will be, a happy family.

You said that you had never met a lady as lovely as me,

While all of the time you had two or three.

Why did you lie and do me this way,

If you didn’t really didn’t love me, than why didn’t you just say.

You’re not a man; you’re less than a mouse,

Give me my keys, leave, and get out of my house.

Remember these words and I’m sure one day you will see,

You lost the best you will ever have the day you lost me.
