Women in Film & Television – Toronto (WIFT-T) is proud to partner with BravoFACT on the 2017 WIFT-T BravoFACT Pitch Competition – an initiative exclusive to WIFT-T members. Teams of directors and producers are encouraged to submit their short narrative film pitches for a chance to win a cash prize totaling $50,000 from BravoFACT, and more amazing benefits! BravoFACT will review the submissions and select five pitch team finalists, who will have the chance to pitch their project in front of a jury of industry experts and a live audience at the 2017 WIFT-T Showcase in March.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an emerging content creator passionate about short form narrative filmmaking. The candidate may have produced or directed a short film in the past, or could be a first time filmmaker. Each pitch team must consist of a producer and a director, one of whom must be a WIFT-T member. Pitch teams are restricted to only two people.
NOTE: Applicants to BravoFACT’s Dec. 2 deadline are welcome to submit their application to the WIFT-T BravoFACT Pitch Competition; however recipients are not eligible for double funding.
Benefits
The winning pitch team will be awarded a cash prize from BravoFACT totaling $50,000
The honourable mention team will receive two WIFT-T programming passes each valued at $500
The winning and honourable mention pitch teams will receive onstage recognition at the 2017 WIFT-T Showcase
