My health journey began in the summer of 2002, when one day I woke up and literally couldn't get out of bed. That day was the beginning of what would end up being a long journey through the Healthcare system and was the day that my life, my health & then apirations were just ripped away by what was & still is considered "standard issue" in an industry that demands perfection.
Between 2002-2005, I was given a diagnosis of lupus, immune deficiency and endocrine disruption plus about 10 other serious health problems that would meet the criteria for my continued declining health.
In the Spring of 2005 my luck changed when I came across a magazine with an article about a Dr Susan Kolb and breast implants. After reading the article and other stories of so many other women who were ill exactly like me I contacted her in Atlanta. I fit the criteria for disease reaction from a leakage or rupture in my breast implants.
Within a week of that call I was in Atlanta having explanation surgery. It was during that very long surgery that it was discovered that indeed my silicone breast implants from 1991 had leaked into my chest wall and lymph nodes. I had numerous infections, I had to have multiple lymph nodes removed under both arms that were infected & laden with silicone, as well as, most of my breast tissue, either due to infection or to remove the silicone that had leaked, which was about one-third of silicone gel into my chest & body from each implant.
Now I had answers, I was being poisioned & was infected, but the damage was already done at that point to my health. A vigorous detoxification ensued to try to remove the toxic residual silicone that couldn't be removed by surgery to try to restore and regain my health. It wasn't enough, because by 2009 I would again become deadly ill and required a second surgery to remove more silicone ladened lymph nodes that had become infected again even migrating to a lymph node in my groin that had to be removed, as well as, additional breast tissue to basically a mastectomy .. it showed I was still being poisoned and burdened by the silicone that was left behind and could not be removed via surgeries.
Over the last 13 years, conventional medicine has done all it can via multiple surgeries, as well as, endocrine and immune therapies to treat my lupus, endocrine disruptions and my immune deficiency for which I have to take weekly infusions, just to give my body back the damaged portion of my immune system to be able to fight of infections.
I've had to start this fundraising campaign because my health has begun to decline again, but this time at a very rapid rate & I have had to stop working. Surgeries are not an option .. my only option at this point, is to get immediate lifesaving treatments and therapies, which are only provided at Environmental Health Clinic in Dallas, before I lose this battle for life.
These lifesaving treatments and therapies are completely a 100% out-of-pocket expense to me and I must also relocate temporarily to Dallas for 2 months ..
They are truly my only hope. So I am graciously reaching out to the world for support and compassionate financial help.
Through your kind donations I am hopeful that I will be able to raise the funds required and that are so urgently needed to save my life.
