MMGY Global has an immediate position available for Videographer/Editor in its Kansas City, MO office. A successful candidate will shoot and edit material for various client projects of MMGY Global. Able to produce cutting edge creative work for top-tier clients in a creative energetic environment. Will work with team of copywriters, art directors, designers and account managers to produce, maintain and update content and design for all clients. Required to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to accommodate evening and weekend shifts and travel to on-site locations for taping.

ABOUT POSITION:
The Videographer/Editor will spend the majority of his/her time doing the following:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing material for production using video camera equipment, makes technical decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle and placement and type of microphone; receives explicit instructions regarding assignment.
- Edits and assembles final visual/audio material; ensures consistency and relevance to production; monitors technical quality of end product.
Experience Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years experience operating DSLR, Blackmagic or similar shooting cameras.
- 6+ years experience with non-linear editors such as Adobe Premiere
- 3+ years experience in Animation using Adobe After Effects
- Proficient in field and studio lighting, the operation of digital video/audio equipment and editing systems. They should also be familiar encoding files for web and broadcast distribution.
- Producing, scripting and interviewing skills are a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe design programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
- Knowledge of color correction techniques and programs a plus.
- Knowledge of television broadcasting rules and regulations
- Knowledge of field production techniques and standards.
- Skill in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV, Film, Fine Arts or related area.
