JOB SUMMARY

The videographer/photographer will work in the creative marketing department of the Vincit Group. You will be responsible for creating videos to be used in training, orientation and recruiting settings. This candidate will also be required shoot digital images and/or video of The Vincit Group and our member companies. You will be responsible for shooting and editing films of the culture, people and personal stories of our employees. Provide photojournalistic photos and short video clips of staff for human interest features. Images/video will be used for a variety of publicity purposes, including internal, advertising, PR and web.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Uses traditional or digital cameras, along with a variety of equipment such as tripods and flash attachments
• Manipulates and enhances scanned or digital images to create desired effects, using computers and specialized software.
• Transfers photographs to computers for editing, archiving, and electronic transmission.
• Determine project goals, locations, and equipment needs by consulting with creative department.
• Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
• Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
• Supports the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting to internal team.
• Helps to sustain and guide creative process.
• Assists in maintaining a company’s internal blog
• Assists in developing interview questions and storyboards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required: Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Preferred: Detailed-oriented with ability to oversee projects from origin through execution. Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, Final Cut, After Effects and other photo editing programs preferred. Light Animation ability is also a plus.

EDUCATION

Required: High school Diploma or GED

Preferred: Associates Degree or higher

EXPERIENCE

Required: 2+ years of experience in both photography and videography.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in both photography and videography in a structured environment.
